I've been eating here since 1993, when I was three years old. I get the same thing every time: BBQ Chicken Burrito. My brother lives the Chile Verde just as much. This place is delicious and amazing. The portions are generous, the staff is like family, and it's some of my favorite food on Earth. Easy parking too!

The 99¢ street tacos are good! The salsa they add to them makes the taco amazing. Recommend coming here on Taco Tuesday. The restaurant itself is so creatively painted and the little plant room is adorable.

Thee Best Mexican restaurant in the Central Coast !!!!! Hands down, by far the best !!! Definitely a hidden gem. I had a chicken burrito bowl tonight and it was beyond delicious ! The flavors will blow your mind away. They really now how to bring out the taste of garlic in food, along with all the red spices - hella good. I ordered a side of homemade fries. All of it is good eats. They are bringing back the daily specials so I will be trying to eat there every day again.

Customer service and food is absolutely phenomenal! Chili Peppers is a local, family run establishment that really deserves your support. Even though they've been hit hard by Covid 19 they are still serving up high quality food for a very affordable cost. One of my favorite restaurants to visit after class!

Came here as a group of four for lunch, and everything we ordered was excellent. The service was limited (not a real sitdown restaurant) but regardless was friendly and very helpful whenever we requested anything. I personally ordered a carne asada burrito and thought the quality was well above average for SLO. The garden seating was very pleasant, especially since it was a lovely day. It was pretty quiet, so we had a nice chat with the owner about the rather exotic plants he cultivates in the garden seating area. The many Bonzai trees in particular were very cool to me and a nice conversation piece. My friends and I are definitely planning on returning.

My girlfriend just showed me this place. Instant classic. Prices are great, it's super low key, and tastes AMAZING. Definitely check it out!

The chilaquiles are delicious! I ordered half green half red sauce, the green sauce is mild and the red sauce is spicy. The bacon was crispy, the beans were good. I wish there was a bit more queso fresco and maybe cilantro and onion garnish on the chilaquiles but they tasted great. I ordered the carne asada tacos for my son and he enjoyed them, the carne asada was seasoned well and the tortillas were not overly cooked. The service was great and we received our food in a timely manner. The restaurant itself is not the cleanest but it's not disgusting either. The bathroom was clean and the floors had just been mopped when we walked in (we were the first customers of the day). It just looks like it's overdue for a deep clean. We did sit at the outside patio so there was dust but it's outside so I wouldn't expect any different. Overall, we enjoyed our food and would eat here again just based on the delicious chilaquiles.
